Mary's musical career has spanned more than two decades. Since 1987, she has sung extensively with Rebecca Storm of "Blood Brothers". In 1988 she composed the award-winning song, "Gonna Walk Away From You", with famed composer and arranger, Frank McNamara. The song was sung by "Allies" and won the Bratislava Song contest.
Mary has appeared as a backing vocalist on Ireland's "The Late Late Show" and "Kenny Live" over the years and in October, 2005 and July 2006 performed in the "Dean Martin Tribute Night" with the National Concert Orchestra in National Concert Hall, The Helix and Farmleigh.
On September 22, 2006, Mary released her debut album, "Mary Lowe- Jazz Diva" which she recorded with the Frank McNamara Big Band.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Mary has often worked in television. Between 1990-2003, she worked as Continuity Announcer for Ireland's premier televesion stations, RTE 1 and RTE 2. She also appeared in a 21 part series called 'Super-Chef', a funny cookery show for children, which aired every week on The Den in 1994. The Den is RTE's children's programming section. Mary also appeared on the Den with Zig Zag, Dustin and Ray D'Arcy on a number of occasions.
Mary has been singing since her school days when she performed with her school choir, "the Young Dublin Singers". Most Sundays find her singing both as a soloist and as a choir member at her local church.
